Clause: 6.4.8

Paragraph: top para on page 49

Category: Issue for edition 2 of this part

Issue

"A device connected inadvertently to the wrong port will not be able to communicate."

This is slightly misleading (wrong) and needs a slight clarification.

Connecting to a different port is only "wrong" if this new connection port is assigned to a different VLAN or at least doesn't have the right VID as part of the PVMS

Proposal

Reword to something along these lines:

"A device connected inadvertently to a different port than assigned may not be able to communicate if the different port is not configured with the right PVID and PVMS."
